The woman was so knowledgable, helpful, friendly and encouraging. Exactly what you’d want in this situation. Patrick along with tech Valentin did a thorough investigation, educated me about what was going on and how to address it, and set about resolving my issue. Valentin made two follow-up trips and was extremely thorough and professional. Problem solved, a great experience with a great outfit that remedied an undesirable situation. I highly recommend Pestec.

04.10.2017Herminio of Pestec came last month to help with a mouse problem. The “arrival window” was 10-12; he arrived at 10 and stayed the whole time! First inspected downstairs unit for mice; set 4 traps (carefully since a dog lives there) and pointed out areas where they could get in that we had missed. Also looked around my garage area and found old rat droppings. Recommended blocking areas inside (block gaps) and outside (vents with chicken wire). He set 4 rat traps. Charged $175 as stated when I made the appointment. He was professional, courteous, helpful. Pestec would do the gap-filling etc. for additional charge but I had my friend do it. I will call them again! P.S.–They use only humane methods–none of those nasty glue traps!

Had used them for a rodent problem three years ago and I remembered Pedro and contacted him when I realized there were rats in the backyard again– not unusual in SF. Pedro is so knowledgeable and pleasant to work with! So happy to find his traps full! So cheery about carrying off the remains! He makes all the yucky things disappear. Pedro has made an unpleasant situation as pleasant as possible!

So many of the pest control companies will tell you what you want to hear just get your money. Colin was up front and wouldn't take a dime for the research and consultation.

10.10.2017So far Pestec has done a good job of getting rid of the outdoor rats that developed after PG&E did some gas line work near our house. Rickie has been prompt and courteous whenever I've had to talk with him. He put out 4 baited (non-poisonous) snap-trap bait stations in our backyard. Within a week two rats were eliminated. He comes by twice a month to dispose of the dead rats and to re-bait. The service is not cheap ($190/month) but it definitely seems to be working. Hopefully a month of service will be all that's needed.
